What is Included with a Purchase of a Highland Haven Puppy?

We’re committed to raising healthy, well-rounded puppies who grow into confident, loving companions. Here’s what you can expect when you bring home one of our puppies:

Basic Package – $3,000 + NYS Sales Tax

🐾 AKC or ASCA Registerable
All of our puppies are eligible for registration with the American Kennel Club (AKC) or the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA).

🧬 Health & Genetics
Parents are fully genetically screened for all currently testable inheritable diseases to ensure the healthiest start for each puppy.

🩺 Veterinary Care
Each puppy is thoroughly vet-checked and age-appropriately vaccinated at around 6 weeks of age.

🪱 Deworming Schedule
Puppies are wormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age.

✅ Health Guarantee
We provide a one-year health guarantee against genetic defects for your peace of mind.

✂️ Spay/Neuter Agreement
Puppies are sold with a spay/neuter contract and are not to be bred.

📎 Microchipped
All puppies are microchipped prior to going to their new homes.

🧠 Raised with Puppy Culture
Our puppies are raised using the proven Puppy Culture and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) methods for optimal social and emotional development. What is Puppy Culture?

Our Gold Package is perfect for families who want guidance while settling their new puppy in.

Includes everything in the Basic Package, plus:
• Unlimited training support until your puppy turns 5 months old
• One in-person training session (travel fees apply outside the NY metro area)
• Two private Zoom training calls for ongoing help and advice

💎 Platinum Package – $5,000 + NYS Sales Tax

Dreading that first week of crate training? Let us handle it for you.
The Platinum Package includes everything in the Basic and Gold Packages, plus:

One week of professional crate training and housebreaking (from week 8 to week 9)
When your puppy comes home, you can expect them to be comfortable and quiet in their crate and to have a basic understanding of housebreaking—ready to go outside and start building good habits right away.

What is required to purchase a Highland Haven Puppy?

Our Commitment to Our Puppies’ Welfare
We are deeply committed to the lifelong well-being of our puppies. To help ensure they are placed in safe, stable, and loving homes, we have a few important requirements for prospective families:

Home Ownership Preferred – We strongly prefer that our puppies go to families who own their homes. Why? Rental restrictions are one of the most common reasons dogs are rehomed. That said, this requirement may be waived on a case-by-case basis for the right family.
• Environment Matters – In general, we do not place puppies in city homes or apartments. Australian Shepherds are active dogs who thrive with space and freedom. However, exceptions can be made depending on your lifestyle and experience.
• Children Under Five – We do not place puppies in homes with children under five. Aussies are sensitive, intuitive dogs who may be overwhelmed by the unpredictable energy of young children and their visiting friends.
• No Shipping – We do not ship our puppies. All families must be able to pick up their puppy in person on go-home day.
• Timely Pick-Up Required – Please ensure you can pick up your puppy on go-home day. If this may be an issue, contact us in advance to make arrangements. Extra fees may apply depending on the number of extra days your puppy will stay with us.
• We Reserve the Right to Decline a Sale – Our puppies are part of our family. We reserve the right to refuse a sale if we feel it’s not in the best interest of the dog.
